Peichi recently purchased a new electric toothbrush.  It is the kind that using some sort of sonic action to clean your teeth, while rotating bristles clean your teeth like at a miniature car wash.  I am not sure why sound waves lead to particularly great oral hygiene, and I told her that she could save the money by just letting me yell into her mouth, but I am sure that she just really wanted the toothbrush because it was on a good sale.

I cam in to the bathroom a couple mornings later and noticed that there were strange white spots on the mirror near her sink.  The next day she asked me if she was supposed to use toothpaste with the new brush.  I told her that she would need to.

“Then how do you keep it from getting all over the mirror?” She asked.

    “Try closing your mouth.”

“But if I do that, then I can’t see my new toothbrush!”

I hung my head in shame.
