Tasty biscuitsTonight Peichi was baking biscuits and watching American idol.  She is a really good cook.  As she was finishing, she asked me to come help take them out of the oven.  She said that she was afraid that they were going to get a “little bit high,” as there was a rack a few inches above that one in the oven.

When I checked, they were at the regular biscuit height on the rack, and there was no danger.  Peichi looked a little confused and concerned.

As I walked away, she told me she didn’t understand, and handed me the box.  She showed me the section at the bottom of the instructions that said, “For high altitude, use additional flower.”

She explained that she had added the flower and was expecting them to get higher in altitude.  I explained that at high altitudes on mountains, the cooking instructions are different.

She is still expecting them to get taller.
